The only way to see the subliminal-motif is with a template, of precise form and dimension, drawn of acetate. (GRIDS) Notice how quickly the figures disappear when the template is removed. Use the template as an animator would. Using my maps as a guide for locating the cones and ellipses, hold the plastic down, on the print in the book, with one hand and "flash" the template with the other hand. Keep flashing as you slightly adjust the template until the "ghosts" appear. Each map is just a sampling of the abundance of figures embedded in each painting.
